The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has invited applications for the post of Director. This is an opportunity for eligible officers to join the institute on a deputation or short-term contract basis.

Established in 1986, NIN is dedicated to research, training, and treatment in Naturopathy and Yoga. The institute operates units including Nisarg Gram (Yewalewadi, Pune) and Nisarg Arogya Sadhana Kendra (Gohe Budruk, Pune).

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Director

• Method of Recruitment: Deputation/Short term contract (Max 5 years or till superannuation).
• Maximum Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years (For deputation).
• Essential Qualifications:
  • (a) M Sc/ MA in Yoga from a recognized University, OR
  • (b) UGC recognized degree + PG diploma (min 2 years) in Yoga/ Naturopathy, OR
  • (c) Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Science (BNYS) degree, OR
  • (d) PG Degree in any subject + Diploma in Yoga/ Naturopathy (min 1 year), OR
  • (e) Degree from recognized institute under IMCC Act 1970 + PG degree/diploma in Yoga, OR
  • (f) MD in Yoga/Naturopathy or PhD in Yoga/Naturopathy.
• Experience:
  • (a) 12 years' experience in research or teaching in Yoga and/or Naturopathy, OR
  • (b) 12 years' experience in Administration in Govt/Univ including min 4 years in Level-12/ PB-3 (GP-7600) or equivalent, OR
  • (c) Holding analogous post in Level-13.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Administrative experience.
  • Original contribution/publication in Yoga/Naturopathy.
  • Published research work in standard research papers.
