CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography, a constituent national laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Institute (CSIR), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the following project staff, purely on a temporary contractual basis to carry out research work on the R&D project and to be engaged in NIO Regional Centre Mumbai. 1. Position: Project Associate-I 2. No. of. Posts: 01 3. Vacancy Code: SSP3270/2204-22 4. Essential Qualification: B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering 5. Desirable Qualification & Job Requirement: At least one year experience in the field of robotics.Proficient in using Robot Operating System (ROS).The candidate is required to work on ROS for a marine robot. Need to develop the software and communications using MAVROS and QgroundControl. Candidate is required to participate in the Field trip by boat and go on cruises if required 6. Monthly Emoluments: Rs.25000 /- Plus HRA as per rules 7. Tenure: 2 Months

Selection Procedure
1. If number of applications are more, then selection committee will fix a criteria to shortlist the applicants. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Selection will be done on the basis of online interview through either Skype/Google Meet/Zoom or any other suitable software, as decided by the competent authority.
2. Applications received after the due date (06 February 2022) will be rejected. The short-listed candidates will be informed through e-mail/website.
3. Proposed Date of Interview for shortlisted candidates : SSP3270/2204-22 : 10 February 2022, 10.30 AM Onwards
4. The above date for interview are proposed date may be subjected to change and (if any) will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates. Exact date and interview timings will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by email.
