Eligibility for Apprentice (Civil Engineering)
- Essential: Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.
Eligibility for Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics Engineering)
- Essential: Three Years Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.
Eligibility for Apprentice (Computer Engineering)
- Essential: Three Years Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience: Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.
Eligibility for Apprentice (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering)
- Essential: Three Years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Refrigeration & Air Conditioning/ Mechanic Ref. & Air conditioning/ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
- Experience: Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.
Eligibility for Apprentice (Non-Engineering Graduate - Oceanography)
- Essential: Full Time Graduate degree (Non-Engineering) granted by a recognized University/Institutions in relevant discipline (Oceanography).

- Essential: Graduation in any discipline.

Salary/Stipend
- Diploma Apprentices: Rs. 8,000/- pm
- Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 9,000/- pm
Age Limit
- Technician/Diploma Apprentices: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 08-01-2026.
- Graduate/Degree Apprentices: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years as on 08-01-2026.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL). PWD category gets relaxation up to 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC-NCL). Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per rules.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Walk-in-interview. If the number of candidates is high, the Selection Committee may conduct a written examination to shortlist candidates for the personal interview.
