We are looking for motivated and bright individuals interested to explore career opportunities in this innovative multi-organization initiative in National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) at NIBMG in the positions mentioned as below:
1. Name of the position: Bioinformatics Engineer
2. No. of Position: 01
3. Consolidated Remuneration [INR] per month: 25000/-
4. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Statistics/ Computer Science /Mathematics or related discipline OR B.Sc. With experience in same field
5. Desirable Qualifications:
(a) Expert in webdevelopment skills (Python and Django, HTML, CSS, JS, VUEjs)
(b) Knowledge in UNIX
(c) Experience in analysis of molecular data
(d) Experience in API & database development
(e) Experience in R or Python
6. Nature of Duty: Building of web components/ back-end and front-end data integration /integrate bioinformatics pipeline. Data analysis Report writing
7. These positions are purely contractual, and appointments will be initially given upto August 31, 2022, which are extendable depending upon performance and requirements of the project.

Selection Procedure
1. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview/test. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the Interview/test
2. “NIBMG reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/ criteria and /or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, if so required.”
