Subject- Filling up of Group 'A' post in National Institute of Disaster Management, Delhi on deputation (ISTC) basis 1. Post Name: Consultant 2. No of Post: 01 3. Pay Level as per 7 CPC: 12 4. Classification: Group 'A' 5. Qualifications I Experience required as mentioned in the advertisement / vacancy circular/ RRs: i. From amongst fre officers or employees of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Statutory or Autonomous Bodies or Universities or Institute fully funded by the Central Government or State Government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department ii. or Officers of the Central / State Government / Union Territories or Statutory or Autonomous Bodies or Universities or Institute fully funded by the Central Government or State Government in the Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600- 39100), Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 with five year service or officers of the Central / State Government in the Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15600- 39100) Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 with ten year of service and possessing the following qualifications:- 6. Qualification (i) Essential:- 55% marks in Masters Degree from a Recognized University. 7. (ii) Desirable: Ph.D or M.Phil or at least one year training in the relevant field at national or international institution or organization. 8. NIDMAdmin/129/2016

1. Please refer to NIDM's letter of even no. dated 03.11.2021,17.12.2021 and 21.01.2022 on the above cited subject. Copy of the letter is available online at https//nidm.gov.in/pdf/recruitment/NIDMConsExt_2022b.pdf .
2. In this regard, it is informed that the last date for receipt of applications complete in all respects for the post of Consultant has been extended by another 60 days i.e., till 20.05.2022. All other things remain unchanged.
3. This issues with the approval of Executive Director, NIDM.

About National Institute of Disaster Management Recruitment
About National Institute of Disaster Management
National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) is an initiative by Ministry of Home Affairs to train and to run capacity development programs to takle natural disasters in India. NIDM also serves as international SAARC Disaster Management Centre (SDMC) and works as focus for its operation and planning.
NIDM provides technical support to the state governments through the Disaster Management Centres (DMCs) in the Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs) of the States and Union Territories. Presently NIDM is supporting 30 such centres. Six of these centres are being developed as Centres of Excellence in the specialised areas of flood risk management, earthquake risk management, cyclone risk management, drought risk management, landslides risk management and management of industrial disasters. Eleven larger states (Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Odisha) have been provided with additional centres to cater their needs in this area.
