Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Associate and Project Assistant for the National Highways Authority of India sponsored project titled “Development of Optimization Models and Decision Support System for National Highways” in the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. NITT/R&C/545/21-22/NHAI/CIV/VS/2022/1 1. Position: Project Associate and Project Assistant 2. Number of posts: One for each post 3. Essential qualification: Project Associate - B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with first class and M.E./M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering with first class, from any recognized University/ Institute. (*Preferably with GATE score) Project Assistant - Diploma in Civil Engineering with first class, from any recognized University/ Institute. 4. Desirable: Experience in Performance Analysis of Roads, Software Programming 5. Salary: Project Associate - Rs. 25,000 per Month Project Assistant - Rs. 15,000 per Month 6. Duration of Project: 3 years 7. Tenure: 1 year, will be extended further till the completion of the project, based on satisfactory performance 8. Job Description: Project Associate - Field Data collection, Data Compilation, Optimization Models, Report preparation, etc. Project Assistant - Field Data collection, Lab test, Data Compilation, etc.

15000 - 25000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. he date of Written Test and/or Interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by E-mail.
2. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the Written Test and/or Interview.
3. The selection committee decision is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
4. The candidate selected as Project Associate, will be permitted to register for PhD Programme as per NITT rules and regulations.
