Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical)

• Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with five years post qualification experience OR PhD with two years post qualification experience.
• Experience: Candidates with PhD with First-class M.Sc./M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech (Pharm.) or an equivalent degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a closely related discipline are preferred.
• Desirable: Strong expertise in organic synthesis, including the synthesis and functionalization of carbocyclic and heterocyclic small molecules intended for drug discovery. Proven experience in transition-metal catalysis, multi-step synthesis, and C-H bond functionalization is highly desirable. Experience in green and sustainable chemistry will be an added advantage.
• Age Limit: 45 years as on 05/02/2026 (Relaxation applicable as per ICMR norms).
