Educational Qualification: M.Sc
The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned project implemented by this institute as detailed thereon.

3. Name of the Project: Impact of Covid-19 on clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment outcome and immune response for pulmonary tuberculosisABRICOT study
4. Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Life Science/Biotechnology from a recognized university with 2 years of research experience in TB or/COVID-19. Adequate experience in field immunology
5. Desirable Qualification: Research experience (Hands-on) in laboratory techniques such as invitro cell culture, PBMC isolation, PBMC cryopreservation, handling of clinical samples etc. Peer reviewed publications in TB and COVID immunology. Experience in writing scientific manuscripts.
6. Nature of Duties: Planning and conducting laboratory-based studies on the immunology of TB- COVID-19. Lab technical work will consist of utilizing different techniques necessary for the project including flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR and other molecular biological and immunological techniques. Data collection, recording, processing using computer software.
7. Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.35,000/- + HRA of Rs.9,450/- p.m.
8. Duration Initially for a period of Six Months

Selection Procedure
Date of Walk-in written test/Interview may be changed due to administrative reasons, hence, candidates are advised to check website before appearing for Walk-in written test/Interview.

2. Interested candidates fulfilling the required qualification may download the prescribed application form from the website www.nirt.res.in, www.icmr.nic.in and walk-in on the date and time mentioned above, at ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, No.1, Mayor Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai 600 031.
3. The filled-in application along with self-attested copies of all credentials in support of educational qualifications, age, caste/community and affixing a colour passport size photograph on the application form should be carried with while reporting for walk-in written test/interview. Original Certificates of all these credentials should also be carried with for verification.
