An Offline Interview for the engagement of a ProjectAssociate-1/JRF (on contract basis) in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 06.05.2022 at 9.30 a.m.at the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Calicut-673601. 1. Position: Project Associate I/ Junior Research Fellow 2. Duration of Engagement : 12 Months (on contract basis) and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund 3. Name of Project : "Design of Functional Main Group Organometallic Molecular Scaffolds: NIR Absorbing Excellent Material for Sensing, Transportation of Bioinspired Anions, Two-photon Absorption Molecules, and OLEDs" 4. Qualifications : MSc Chemistry equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade with having valid GATE/CSIR-NET 5. Desirable : Candidates having a valid CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE score card. Candidates having experience in Organic/inorganic chemistry 6. Consolidated monthly pay : Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) per month (consolidated)

Selection Procedure
The interview will be conducted Off line and the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail.

1. Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format as an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject “Application for Project Associate I: SERB/EEQ/000180”. The self-attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form.
2. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer if selected for the interview.
3. The last date to receive the submission of the online application: is 29.04.2022 at 5.00 pm
