Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CSE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE) or similar circuit branches.
• Desirable Research Experience: Partial Discharge Monitoring, Ultra-high Frequency sensors, High Voltage Test Techniques, Programming (C#, .NET, Embedded C/C++), FPGA (Verilog), Electronics (Analog, Digital System Design), Microcontroller Programming, PCB Design.
• For Student Interns: 3rd Year Students of NIT Durgapur (EE/CSE branches only).

Age Limit

As per the norms of ANRF and NHPC sponsored projects (Generally up to 35-40 years for Project Associates, check official PDF for specific age criteria).

Salary & Emoluments

The fellowship amount is fixed as per the guidelines of DST and SERB:

• JRF (Junior Research Fellow): Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA
• SRF (Senior Research Fellow): Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
• Project Associate I: Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (based on NET/GATE qualification)
• Project Associate II: Rs. 28,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA
• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
• Student Intern: Rs. 8,000/- per month
