Applications are invited from the Indian nationals, giving full details of educational qualifications and experience for the following position as details given under the research Project titled, "Bismuthene coated fiber optic plasmonic biosensor for the detection of human pathogens" [FILE NO. SRG/2021/0017441,

i. Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a statutory body of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, under the supervision of Dr. Jitendra Bahadur Maurya, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Patna, Bihar, India, for a period of twenty four months (Two Years) or whenever the project gets completed. Date of commencement of the project is 20 Jan. 2022.

1. Post Name: Junior research fellow (JRF)

2. No of Post: 01 (one),

3. Salary: Rs. 31000/- (Thirty one thousand consolidated only) + 18% HRA per month for the two years (counted from the date of joining) or upto the end of project whichever is earlier.

4. Eligibility requirements:

Candidates should have M.E./M.Tech degree with at least 60% or equivalent CGPA in either of the following specialization: Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, VLSI, and Communication Engineering.

5. Essential requirements:

CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions.

6. Desirable requirements:

Fabrication/synthesis and characterization of thin films and nanofilms, Preparation of Biomolecular recognition element, Optics and Photonics under COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software, Good communication skill.
