Educational Qualification: B.A, B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech

1. Position: Urban Infrastructure Specialist- CITIIS

2. Duty Station: New Delhi, India

3. Duration: One Year (Renewable)

4. Type of Contract: Individual Consultant Contract

5. Skills and Qualifications: 

a) Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, engineering, management, policy or a related field OR Bachelors in Civil engineering- construction department, from a recognized university;

b) Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field of civil engineering, infrastructure development, especially in preparation of geo-technical/construction technical documentation;

c) Experience in working in complex and large infrastructure and/or civil works, particularly in the field of construction technical project documentation development as well as construction supervision;

d) Good knowledge and understanding of the Spatial Planning and Construction Acts, by-laws regulating the construction of similar public facilities, technical regulations, general and special technical conditions and professional codes;

e) Understanding of the urban sector and governance structures in the country; as well as national missions and programs such as the Smart Cities Mission, AMRUT, Jal Jeevan Mission, National Action Plan for Climate Change etc.

f) Good social, analytical, inter-personal and planning skills.

g) Excellent written and oral communication skills.

7. Remuneration: As par with the industry standards, depending on experience and skills and fitment with NIUA remuneration structures. Proof of past remuneration (last received salary/monthly contract payment) would be required.
