Educational Qualification: M.Ed
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following contractual posts for "National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan)", 522, Trunk Road, Poonamallee, Chennai- 600056 Tamil Nadu on purely temporary basis. Applications should reach the Director of the Institute at the above address.

3. Consolidated pay Rs.45,000/- without any allowances
4. Educational and other qualifications: Master’s Degree from a recognized university not less than 50% marks M.Ed Degree in the specific disability area with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.
5. Desirable: Ph.D/M.Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education. Experience of a period of at least 3 years as a teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability or 3 years of teaching at the Diploma level.
6. Duration 11 Months

Selection Procedure
1. The Selection will be based on Online or Written test & Interview
2. Selection will be based on the criteria given below in the table. The following will be the criteria for conducting the test:
a. Written Test (Objective / multiple choice questions) 80%
b. Desirable Qualification 10%
c. Desirable Experience 10%
d. Total Marks 100%
