Educational Qualification: Any Masters Degree
Applications on plain paper giving full details of age qualification/experience, etc. are invited by the Vice-Chancellor, National Museum Institute, for the post of Registrar as per the following details:
1. Name of the Post : Registrar
2. Number of Post: 01 (one)
3. Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix: Rs. 1.23,100-, Level 13 as per 7th CPC, GP-8700
4. Qualification: Masters Degree of a recognized University. Minimum 10 years of experience in accounts and general administration. Person with 10 years of administrative experience and who has qualifications comparable to the post of Associate Professor (Reader) may also be considered.

Selection Procedure
1. By transfer/transfer on deputation (short term contract) failing which by direct recruitment. TransferTransfer on deputation (including short-term contract): Persons working in universities and colleges in India: Central or State Museums and similar Institutes and possessing qualifications(Deputation, short-term contract shall ordinarily not exceed 5 years). Persons working in Central/State Governments or other Government Organizations may please submit their applications through proper channel. Applications received from such candidates directly will not be entertained.

National Museum Institute of History of Arts,Conservation and Museology,was established on 28th April 1989, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, Collaborating with other National Institutions dealing with Cultural Property like the National Museum, Archaeological Survey of India, Anthropological Survey of India, National Gallery of Modern Arts, National Archives of India etc. To share the material curatorial / technical expertise and facilities, interacting on a continuing basis at the National level to improve standards of teaching and providing academic guidance and leadership to institute.
