Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
- Post 1.0 (SRF): M.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE/EE or B.Tech in CSE/IT or MCA with 2 years of research experience. Selection must be through CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or Central Govt. exams (DST, DBT, DRDO, IIT, etc.).
- Post 2.0 (JRF): M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics/Electronics or B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Instrumentation. Must be selected via NET/GATE/Central Govt. exams. Project involves Ph.D. registration.
- Post 3.0 (JRF): M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics/Electronics or B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Instrumentation. Must be selected via NET/GATE/Central Govt. exams. Preference for Solar Photovoltaics experience.
- Post 4.0 (PA-I): SSC/10th Pass plus ITI (Electrical/Mechanical).
- Post 5.0 (Sr. Project Assoc): Ph.D. in Physics OR M.Tech in Nanotechnology OR Master's in Physics/Materials Science with 3 years R&D experience.
- Post 6.0 (Sr. Project Assoc): M.Sc in Chemistry with 3 years R&D experience in microfluidics.
- Post 7.0 (Project Assoc-I): Masters in Chemistry/Materials Science. For Rs. 31k: Must have NET/GATE/Central Govt. exam qualification. For Rs. 25k: Without NET/GATE.
- Post 8.0 (Sr. Project Assoc): M.Sc Physics/B.Tech ECE with 3 years experience OR Ph.D. in Physics.
- Post 9.0 (Research Intern): M.Sc (1st Class) in Electronics/Physics.
- Post 10.0 (Project Assoc-II): M.Sc/B.Tech in CS/AI/Electronics + 2 years experience OR Masters in Engineering.
2. Age Limit & Relaxation
Cut-off Date for Age: Age is calculated as of 12/02/2026.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Women is applicable as per Government of India rules.
- Max Age Limits: Varies by post (25 Years to 40 Years). Refer to the vacancy table above.
3. Mandatory Requirements
- Citizenship: Indian Citizen only.
- Result Status: Candidates must have completed their essential qualifications with results declared. Final semester/Result awaited candidates are NOT eligible.
- Experience: If required, it must be post-qualification experience.
- Project Staff Cap: Candidates already engaged in CSIR projects for 6 years or more are not eligible.
Selection Process
The recruitment is purely based on a Walk-in-Interview.
- Screening: If a large number of candidates appear, a screening committee will shortlist candidates based on academic qualifications and experience.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on the same day (12/02/2026).
- Language: Candidates can answer in Hindi or English during the interview.
