Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Field Assistant (FA)

Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Post-graduate degree in Basic or Life Science/Agriculture Science and qualified National Eligibility Test (CSIR/UGC/ICAR-NET) including lectureship and GATE Desirable: Working experience on agriculture, plant molecular breeding, transcriptomics and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master degree in Agricultural Sciences / Agribusiness management/ Environmental Science/Life Science/ Botany/ Business management/Economics/Computer science/ Law with 4-year Bachelor’s degree in agriculture with (or) basic science with 3years bachelor’s degree and two years master’s degree and NET qualification. Desirable: PG Diploma/Certificate in IPR/ Technology management/ Agribusiness.
Field Assistant (FA): Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Forestry or relevant disciplines. Desirable: Working experience in field survey, field layout, seed sowing, seed treatment, intercultural operations, crop cultivation, water quality analysis, sample collection, data collection and working knowledge of computers and Statistical design and software.

12000-35000/- Per Month

ICAR-Central Agroforestry Research Institute (ICAR-CAFRI), formerly the National Research Centre for Agroforestry, is a multidisciplinary premier research institute of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) with a major focus on integrating trees, crops and livestock on the same farmland. The Institute is in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh o o (25.5 N 78.5 E), India and has a total area of 254.859 acre (214.079 research farm and 40.78 office & residential area).
CAFRI is the only dedicated research institute of the country working on key research areas of agroforestry with 31 scientists, 16 technical, 12 administrative and 8 skilled supporting staff as its sanctioned cadre strength.
