Applications are invited to attend online Interview through video conferencing for the following posts purely on contractual basis under project for given period of time at ICAR- NRC for Grapes, Pune as mentioned below. 1. Qualifications : Essential: Bachelor of Science or Diploma Holders in Agriculture/Engineering/Technology. Desirable: Working experience in Agriculture 5. Emoluments per month :₹. 25000.00 consolidated Per month 6. Project Duration : 10 months 1. Post name : Young Professional II 2. No of Post : 01 3. Name of project : Bio-efficacy of GPH 0319 against weed flora in grapes 4. Qualifications : Essential: M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Horticulture or plant physiology or Botany. Desirable: Two Years research experience in relevant area. 5. Emoluments per month :₹. 35000.00 consolidated Per month 6. Project Duration : 11 months

National Research Center for Grapes (NRCG) was established on 18th January 1997, Recognize by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The motto of programme involving basic and strategic research for resolving major biotic and abiotic constraints affecting the production, productivity and utilization of grapes.
The prime objective of center is to maintain care field germplasm with wide genetic base and develop varieties with economically viable agro techniques for quality grapes production by sustain the productivity and quality through management of biotic and abiotic stresses.
The center conducting Research & Development in discipline of:
Pesticide Reduction for export of fresh grapes from India, Functional analysis of salinity stress response in grapevine, Research on management of grape genetic resource of table wine raisin, Juice and rootstock varieties,Development of new grape varieties through conventional breeding, Standardization of cultural practices to increase quality yield of wine grapes, etc.
