Educational Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in the field of Molecular Biology/ Plant Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science/Botany/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant pathology/Plant physiology/Microbiology or equivalent. OR Master’s degree in the field of Molecular Biology/ Plant Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science/Botany/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant pathology/Plant physiology/Microbiology or equivalent with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having I division or 60% marks or equivalent.
Pay Scale:
INR
67000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

How to Apply:
The tentative date of interview is 16/09/2025. The candidates shall report at NIPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi - 110012 from 9.30 am. Interested candidates will attend the Walk-In-Interviews with 2 copies of CV (format will be uploaded in the website) along with 2 self-attested copies of all the documents related to educational qualifications/experience/publications etc. The candidates must also bring all the Original documents for verification.

National Institute For Plant Biotechnology (NIPB) is a premiere research institution of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The institute was founded in 1985 as the ‘Biotechnology Centre’ of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) for molecular biology and biotechnology research in crop plants. The prescience of the role of biotechnology in agriculture led to a bigger responsibility for this centre and it was elevated as National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology in the year 1993 (Now NIPB).
