Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Specialist (Ayurvedic Spl.): Master Degree in Ayurveda along with all qualifications required for Medical Officer as listed below.
  • Medical Officer: A Degree in Ayurvedic System of Medicine (with at least five years regular course) from any University or Institution recognized by the Government, plus knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard.
  • Pharmacist/Dispenser: Up-Waidya from any recognized University/Institution/Board or Faculty of Indian System of Medicines established by law in India and recognized by the Government. Matric or equivalent. Knowledge of Hindi and English up to Matric standard.
  • Messours: Secondary School with Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Masseurs/Therapy of six months or more from Government/Private Institutions recognized by the Central/State Government.
  • Attendant: (i) Matriculation from a recognized board. (ii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric level. (iii) Ability to read and write in Hindi. Desirable: One year experience working in a Government/Private Hospital/Health Institution.
  • Yoga Instructor (Part Time): 10+2 from HBSE/CBSE/Equivalent board with Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject at Matric level or Hindi at Higher Standard, and Diploma in Yoga of at least one year from a UGC Accredited University.

Candidates must satisfy regional and other criteria as specified by Haryana Government norms.

Selection Process & Weightage Criteria

Selection is based on a total weightage of 50 marks distributed across three components:

  • Basic Qualification (30 marks): Calculated as 30 × (Percentage of Marks Obtained / 100).
  • Relevant Work Experience (10 marks): 02 marks for each completed year of post-qualification relevant work experience in State Government, Semi-Government, UT, Government Board, Corporation, NHM, or recognized private hospital/laboratory — up to a maximum of 10 marks.
  • Local Area Weightage (10 marks): Full 10 marks awarded to bonafide residents of Bhiwani district. Out-of-district applicants receive 0 marks under this component.
