Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for ICTC Counselor

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Graduate degree holder in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human development/Nursing with 3 years of experience in counselling/educating under National Health programme.
    • OR Post-graduate in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human development/Nursing.
    • For PLHIV candidates: Graduate degree holder in the above disciplines with 1 year of experience in counseling/educating under National Health Programmes.

Eligibility for FIART Counselor

  • Essential Qualification: Graduate degree holder in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human development/Nursing with 1 year of experience in counseling/educating under National Health Programmes.
  • Desirable: Experience of working under National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NACP) facility or community settings.
  • Knowledge and Skill:
    • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, usage of internet and electronic mail.
    • Familiarity with government health policies and related programmes.
    • Ability to work in teams and flexible ways of working as per the need of the programme.

Eligibility for ICTC Lab Technician

  • Essential Qualification: B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or BMLS, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or DMLS with a course duration of at least 2 years recognized by State/Central Government.
  • Essential Experience:
    • Two years of experience working in a diagnostic laboratory for those with B.Sc/Diploma (2-year course).
    • One year experience for those working in a diagnostic laboratory for candidates having M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology.
    • Candidates with experience in accredited labs or labs that have applied for accreditation will be preferred.
  • Desirable: M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology/MMLS.

About Haryana Health Department

Health Department is headed by the Director General, Health Services, and is assisted by One Additional Director General, Seven Directors, One Additional Director (Administration), One Joint Director (Administration) and Deputy Directors at the Head Office.

The Head of Health Services at the District is Civil Surgeon while the Civil Hospitals are headed by Principal Medical Officers/Medical Superintendents / Senior Medical Officers. Community Health Centres and Primary Health Centres are headed by Senior Medical Officers and Medical Officer in-charge respectively.

The post of Director General Health Services is a departmental post. The DGHS work as the Head of the Department and looking after the work of all officers of the department. The officer in addition to administrative and financial powers is responsible for implementing all the schemes of the Health Department. The officer works under the supervision, direction and control of the Additional Chief Secretary, Government to Haryana for the Health Department. The DGHS is assisted by one Additional Director General, Seven Directors, One Additional Director (Administration) and One Joint Director (Administration).
