Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Microbiologist: M.D. Microbiology OR PhD/M.Sc. in Medical/Applied/General Microbiology. 5 years experience in Bacteriology preferred. M.D. candidates given priority.
• X-Ray Technician: 12th Pass (Science) + Diploma in Radiography. Preference for those with NHM experience in the same role.

Age Limit & Cut-off

Age is calculated as of the last date of application submission (March 16, 2026).

• Microbiologist: Up to 43 years. No age limit for NHM employees per guidelines.
• X-Ray Technician: Open category: 38 years; Reserved category: 43 years. NHM employees get a 5-year relaxation.

Mandatory Requirements

• Domicile: Candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra (domicile certificate required).
• Small Family Norms: Candidates must adhere to the government's small family policy (disqualification if number of children exceeds two after July 23, 2020).

Age Relaxation

As per NHM guidelines for employees and reserved categories (VJ-A, OBC).

Selection Process

Recruitment Type: Direct Recruitment based on Merit List (No Competitive Exam).

Selection will be based on a merit list calculated as follows:

• Qualifying Exam (Final Year %): 50 Marks (Proportional)
• Higher Education: 20 Marks
• Relevant Experience: 30 Marks (6 marks per year)
