Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Microbiologist: M.D. Microbiology OR PhD/M.Sc. in Medical/Applied/General Microbiology. 5 years experience in Bacteriology preferred. M.D. candidates given priority.
- X-Ray Technician: 12th Pass (Science) + Diploma in Radiography. Preference for those with NHM experience in the same role.
Age Limit & Cut-off
Age is calculated as of the last date of application submission (March 16, 2026).
- Microbiologist: Up to 43 years. No age limit for NHM employees per guidelines.
- X-Ray Technician: Open category: 38 years; Reserved category: 43 years. NHM employees get a 5-year relaxation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Domicile: Candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra (domicile certificate required).
- Small Family Norms: Candidates must adhere to the government's small family policy (disqualification if number of children exceeds two after July 23, 2020).

Selection Process
