Accounts Officer and Various Posts

Number of Vacancy: 11 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Accounts Officer: B.Com with advance Accountancy Auditing.
Assistant Registrar: Bachelor’s degree of recognized university or equivalent.
Assistant Light and Sound Technician:
(a) Senior Secondary (10+2) pass from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
(b) Diploma in electrical from a recognized institute or equivalent or Degree/Diploma in Sound Technology from a recognized institute or equivalent.
(c) Five years experience of lighting / sound operations in a theatre hall or under a reputed firm dealing with lighting / sound equipments and knowledge of handling the lighting / sound equipments.
Assistant Wardrobe Supervisor:
1. Senior Secondary (10+2) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
2. Diploma in cutting / tailoring from NIFT / any other recognized institution / NSD.
3. Two years experience in handling and maintaining of records in a reputed theatre organization.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
1. Senior Secondary (10+2) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
2. Typing speed of at least 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
Pay Scale:
INR
19900-151100/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- by UR candidates and Rs. 250/- by OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates is to be paid online through Net Banking, Credit, Debit Card or UPI. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Women and Persons with Disability eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee.

The National School of Drama is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959. In 1975, it became an independent entity and was registered as an autonomous organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, fully financed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Training in the School is highly intensive and is based on a thorough, comprehensive, carefully planned syllabus which covers every aspect of theatre and in which theory is related to practice. As a part of their training, students are required to produce plays which are then performed before the public. The syllabus takes into account the methods of great theatre personalities who have shaped contemporary theatre in all its variety. The systematic study and practical performing experience of Sanskrit drama, modern Indian drama, traditional Indian theatre forms, Asian drama and western dramatic protocols give the students a solid grounding and a wide perspective in the art of theatre.
National School of Drama (NSD) was established in the year 1959. It is located in Bhawalpur house New Delhi. National School of Drama (NSD) is a theatre training institute. NSD is an autonomous organization under Ministry of Culture. NSD has professional performing wing, the 'National School of Drama' and the 'Theatre-in-Education Company' (T.I.E), called 'Sanskaar Rang Toli'. Sanskaar Rang Toli has become India's premier educational resource centres, and coaches children aged 8 to 16 years. National School of Drama recruitment offers great career opportunities for several posts such as Stage Manager, Sitarist, Electrician, Tailor, Assistant Carpenter, Driver, Artist, Lady Warden, Consultant Engineer (Electrical), Theatre Artists, Professor (Acting & Direction), Associate Professor (Modern Indian Drama), Assistant Professor (Make-Up), Registrar, Film Producer, Film Editor, Production Manager, Information & Library Assistant, Electrician, Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Typist, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor. Interested candidates can pursue courses in Graduate of NSD OR Degree / Diploma holder in dramatic of any University, 10th Standard + Must possess a Wireman's Licence from the competent authority, Diploma in Tailoring from CTI and ITI, Diploma in wood craft / carpentry from ITI, 8th standard + Possession of a valid Driving Licence for motor cars, Graduate of National School of Drama or a degree/diploma in education/child development / psychology, Ph.D. in concerned subject, M.A in Dramatic Art / Theatre Arts, B.A. Degree and the NSD Diploma in Dramatics /or a Master's Degree in the concerned subject, Diploma in film production. Diploma in editing, Degree in film/ video production, Graduate + B.Lib, Higher Secondary or 12th + Typing in English with a minimum speed of 35 w .p.m or in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 w .p.m. on Computer, B.A. Degree & The NSD Diploma in Dramatics / or a Masters Degree in the concerned Subject, for a great career at National School of Drama.
