Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the award of following Junior Research Fellowships initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules) at a Monthly Stipend of Rs. 31,000/- + House Rent Allowance as admissible as per rules.

4. Educational Qualification:
a) Graduate Degree in professional course B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course M.E./M.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
b) Graduate Degree in professional course B.E./B.Tech. (EE Engg.) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course M.E./M.Tech. (EE Engg.) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
c) Graduate Degree in professional course B.E./B.Tech. (ECE/E&I Engg.) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course M.E./M.Tech. (ECE/ E&I Engg.) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
d) Graduate Degree in professional course B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology) in first division with a valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science & Engg. / Information Technology) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
e) Post graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics in first division with NET qualification
f) Post graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics in first division with NET qualification

Selection Procedure
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview to be held at NSTL, Vigyan Nagar, Visakhapatnam-530027. Based on the performance of candidates in the interview, a panel of selected candidates will be prepared for the available vacancies and future anticipated vacancies. The Panel would operate for a period of one year from the date of declaration of results.

1. Closing Date of receipt of Application: 15 days from the date of publication of advt.
2. Interested candidates should download and fill the application form in the prescribed format (available on the ‘what’s new’ section of the website www.drdo.gov.in). The duly filled in and signed application form along with the under mentioned documents should be scanned and sent via e-mail to “[email protected]” with the subject “Application for Junior Research Fellowship (subject)”, so as to reach this office on or before the closing date. Incomplete/Partially filled applications are liable to be rejected.
(a) Marks sheets and certificates in support of Educational Qualification(s)
(b) Birth certificate or Matriculation/10th class certificate in support of Date of Birth
(c) Valid NET/GATE score card (if applicable)
(d) Valid SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable)
(e) Passport size photograph (taken within one year)
(f) Examination Fee of ₹ 10/- (Rupees Ten only) should be paid online to the under mentioned Bank account and Transaction ID/NEFT UTR No. should be mentioned in the Application form. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC are exempted from this payment.
