Educational Qualification & Experience:Master's degree from a recognized University with operational computer knowledge. Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant area, preferably in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies at Pay Level 7/8 (GP ₹4,600/4,800) or equivalent, as per 7th CPC.
Skills:Administration, finance, ERP systems, financial management software, computer applications, knowledge of Government of India rules (CCS, GFR, Delegation of Financial Powers), liaison, and advising.
Job Requirement: The incumbent will be responsible for the administrative and finance matters of NCPOR, advise the Director on these matters, maintain liaison with the parent Ministry, and undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Director.
Age Limit:Maximum 40 years as on the cut-off date (20 August 2026). Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for Ex-Servicemen and PwD candidates, and up to 5 years for persons serving on a regular basis in Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs and employees working in NCPOR.
Salary:
Pay Level 10 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, along with usual allowances such as DA, HRA, TA, LTC, Children Education Allowance, NPS, medical facilities, and leave, as admissible to Society employees from time to time.

India began its National Antarctic Program under Department of Ocean Development (DOD) of the Government of India in 1981. A Centre dedicated to Antarctic Expeditions, named as ‘Antarctic Study Centre (ASC)’ was established at Goa in 1988. The ASC was subsequently upgraded into an autonomous institute National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR).
