The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has released a vacancy notice for the post of Group General Manager (Human Resource). This is a prestigious opportunity for experienced professionals to join a Joint Venture of the Govt. of India and participating State Governments (Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 05/02/2026)

1. Educational Qualification

• For Officers of Organized Group 'A' Services: Graduate degree.
• For Others: Graduate and two years full-time regular MBA (or equivalent qualification) in HR/HRM.
• Note: Degrees must be from UGC recognized Indian University or AICTE approved courses.

2. Experience

• Organized Group ‘A’ Services: Minimum 18 years of post-qualification experience.
• Central/State Govt./CPSE/Autonomous Bodies: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience at Executive Level (E2/L9 or above).
• Preference: Experience in Indian Railways, its CPSEs, or Metro Rail organizations.

3. Pay Scale Requirements

• CDA Candidates: Must be working in Pay Scale Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200 (L14) or above.
• IDA Candidates: Must be working in Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 (E8) OR have served the last 4 years in Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000 (E7).

4. Age Limit & Relaxation

The maximum age limit is 55 years as of 05/02/2026. Deputation norms follow DoPT guidelines. Candidates working in regular capacity in Govt. entities are eligible; contract/ad-hoc basis candidates are not.

Selection Process

This recruitment does not involve a written exam. Selection is based on Interview and Document Verification.

3. Document Verification: Must be completed before the interview. Original certificates are mandatory.

Job Description (Group General Manager - HR)

• Manage Human Resource Management, Establishment matters, and Manpower Planning.
• Oversee recruitment (acquisition), retention, training & development, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and labour laws.
• Handle Industrial Relations (IR) and Conduct, Discipline, and Appeal (CDA) Rules.
• Manage HR ERP systems and promotion policies/DPCs.

Emoluments & Benefits

• Pay and allowances regulated as per DoPT rules for deputation.
• Additional Benefits: Transport, Medical, Laptop, Mobile handset, Electricity, Phone charges (subject to limits), and Company/Leased accommodation.
• Term: Normal deputation term, not exceeding 5 years.
