Educational Qualification: PG Diploma, MS/MD
The Institute will be conducting In-person Walk In Interview & Online Interview (Via Video Conference) for the following posts of Senior Resident Doctors (three years tenure) on the dates mentioned below:
1. Position: Senior Resident Doctor
2. No of Post: 53
3. Qualification:
a. Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule - 1& U of the 3 Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part II of the 3d schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
b. Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship/housemanship in a recognized hospital.
c. Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
4. Desirable: Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred.
5. Scale of Pay: Level 11 of Pay Matrix with entry pay of R.67700/- per month płus NPA and other allowances as admissible under the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. In person Walk-in Interviews: 27th April 2022 (Wednesday).
2. Interview via Video Conference: 28th April 2022 (Thursday).
3. Eligible candidates who wish to appear for in-person interview are requested to present themselves for registration at 09:30 a.m to 10:45 a.m on 27 April 2022 (Wednesdav) in the Conference Hall, NEIGRIHMS Guest House, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang.
4. Candidates who are not able to appear for the Walk-in interview in person on 27th April 2022, can submit their applications in prescribed proforma alongwith self attested scanned copies of their certificates by email to [email protected] upto 22th April 2022 (Friday) till 5:30 PM
5. The lists of Eligible & In-Eligible candidates wil be uploaded in the Institute's website www.neigrihms.gov.in on 26th April 2022.
6. The interview of Eligible candidates via Video Conference will be conducted on 28 April 2022 (Thursday). *

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) stands as a premier super-specialty teaching and referral institute equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Established in 1987 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it holds the distinction of being the first central government health institution in the North East. As an autonomous body registered under the Meghalaya Societies Act 1983, NEIGRIHMS plays a pivotal role in medical advancement and public welfare.
Institute of National Importance & Excellence
Recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2000, NEIGRIHMS is also a unique 'Centre of Excellence' for medical education and human health resource development, a status conferred by Parliament in 2007.
