1. Consultant (Medical)

• Essential Qualification: MBBS or BDS or Equivalent degree. Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
• OR: Retired Government employee with requisite qualification and regular Pay Level 10 and above (Min 10 years experience).
• Experience Calculation: PhD = 4 years experience; MD/MS = 3 years experience. MPH is not considered as experience.
• Desirable: MD, MPH, PG Diploma in Clinical Research, 3 years clinical trial experience, Computer skills, English communication.

2. Consultant (Non-Medical/Statistics)

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc or Equivalent qualifications in relevant subject. Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
• OR: Retired Government employee with requisite qualification and regular Pay Level 10 and above (Min 10 years experience).
• Experience Calculation: PhD = 4 years experience.
• Desirable: Experience in clinical trial data/large databases, Clinical trial software, R/Statistical software, Computer skills, English communication.

Selection Procedure

The selection process involves:

1. Document Verification: Candidates must bring original documents.
2. Written Test (Conditional): If the number of eligible candidates exceeds 30 for a specific post, a written test will be conducted first.
3. Walk-in Interview: Shortlisted candidates (based on qualifications/experience/written test) will appear before the Interview Board.

Selection Criteria: Based on performance in the interview. Mere fulfillment of qualifications does not guarantee selection.

Scope of Work

• Medical: Develop study protocols (SOPs), oversee study implementation, train staff, conduct quality checks, review AEs/SAEs, draft manuscripts.
• Statistics: Monitor data accuracy, conduct quality checks, prepare monitoring reports, oversee data entry/validation, coordinate with investigators, support statistical analysis.
