North Eastern Railway Recruitment

North Eastern Railway (NER) is one of the 18 railway zones in India. It was established on 14th April 1952 by combining two railway systems, Oudh and Tirhut Railway and Assam Railway. NER has its headquarters in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. It covers 5 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Assam.

NER Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for any job in NER, you must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the organization. The eligibility criteria vary from post to post. However, some of the common eligibility criteria are:

Age Limit

After qualifying for the PET, candidates have to appear for the medical examination. In this stage, candidates are examined by a doctor to ensure that they are physically and mentally fit.

After qualifying for all the above stages, candidates have to appear for the document verification process. In this process, candidates have to produce all the necessary documents such as educational certificates, age proof, and caste certificate.
