Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens possessing prescribed Sports qualifications described in para 2 below, for recruitment against Sports Quota for the year 2021-22 for Group 'C' posts (pay band-I Rs.5200-20200) on N.E. Railway.

3. Minimum Educational Qualification:
(A) For the Post having GP-1900/2000 in 10+2 or its equivalent.
(B) For the post hamg GP-Rs. 2400 (Technical): Pass 10+2 in Science i.e. Maths or Physics or equivalent.
(C) Forthe post having GP Rs. 2800: A university Degree or its equivalent.
4. Period Of Reckoning Sports Achievements: The sports achievements ofcurrent & previous two financial years will be taken into account for eligibility. Therefore, the sports achievements of 01.042019 or afterwill only be considered
5. Grade Pay (In Rupees): 2400 (Leve14) OR 2800 (level-5) 1900 (level-2)OR 2000 (level-3)

Selection Procedure
Mode Of Selection & Recruitment Process: The Recruitment Will Be Based On The Performance In Trial And Evaluation Of Sports And Educational Achievements.

1. The link for online application is available at North Eastem Railways website www.ner.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Candidate should carefully read all the instructions given in the Employment Notice before filling the online application form. Online application form should be filled following the step-by-step procedure given on the webpage.
3. All the required fields must be filled-up carefully Candidates must upload his/her scanned recent photograph and signature while filling the application form.
4. Date and Time of Commencement of Online Application:- 26-03-2022, 11:00hrs.
5. Last Date and Time of Online Application:- 25-04-2022, 17:00hrs.
Important Instructions:
(i) Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils all the eligibility norms
(ii) The specific position played in the particular game/event if applicable must be mentioned in the application form.
(iii) The Educational or Sports qualifications acquired after the date of application shall not be considered.
(iv) Candidates fumishing false information/suppressing the facts will be disqualified and shall be liable for debarment and legal action. Candidates who attempt fraudlmpersonation are liable for debarment to appear in the future examinations conducted for recruitment in Railways.
(v) Candidate(s) found eligible for appointment have to pass the prescribed medical examination conducted by the Railway Administration before appointment.
(vi) Mere fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria for recruitment or selection of candidates and recommendation for their appointment shall not confer any right on the candidates for their appointment in Railway.
(vii) Second Class free joumey pass from the nearest Railway Station mentioned in the application form will be issued to the candidates belonging to SC & ST communities whenever they are called at any stage of recruitment.
(viii) The person appointed against Sports Quota in the category of clerks will be required to possess proficiency in typing within a period of four years from the date of appointment. If the candidate does not acquire prescribed typing qualification within the stipulated period, increments due after four years and thereafter shall not be released.
(ix) Candidates should be in readiness to appear in the trials at a very short notice.
