Educational Qualification:
Librarian: A Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service.
Assistant Professor: BE / B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering AND ME / M.Tech. in Food Process Engineering/ Agricultural Process & Food Engineering. Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant fields.
Associate Professor: BE / B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering AND ME / M.Tech in Farm Machinery and Power/ Soil & Water Engineering / Agricultural Process &. Food Engineering/ Renewable Sources of Energy.
Professor: BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. AND ME / M.Tech. in Civil Engineering. AND Ph.D. in relevant fields.

INR
Level-13 Per Month

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is a science and technology-oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. It was established in 1984. It is a deemed university, autonomous and controlled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education. The institute is managed by a Board of Management, comprising representatives of MHRD. The state governor of Arunachal Pradesh is the de facto head of the highest body, NERIST Society, which consists of education ministers of all North Eastern States. The Board of Management is headed by the Chairman, Air Marshal (Retd.) Pranab Kumar Barbora.
The undergraduate programmes of Engineering are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
