Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Advisor (Boiler Operation): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/B.Sc/Diploma in Engineering with Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) certification. Minimum 15 years of experience in operating the plant.
• Advisor (Operation - ETP): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/B.Sc/Diploma in Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in operating the plant.
• Advisor (Operation - Nitrogen Plant): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/B.Sc/Diploma in Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in operating the plant.
• Advisor (Operation - DM Plant): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/B.Sc/Diploma in Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in operating the plant.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• CPSU Grade Requirement: Officers superannuating from a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) must have retired from Grade 'C', 'D', or 'E'.
• Age Limit: Maximum 65 years of age as on the cut-off date (12.11.2026). No category-based age relaxations are provided in the notification.
• Vigilance Clearance: No vigilance case, departmental proceedings, or criminal prosecution should be contemplated or pending at the time of retirement or applying.
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must produce a fitness certificate before engagement, and the opinion of the Hospital or Medical Officer authorised by NRL is final.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection will be based on Personal Interaction with shortlisted candidates. The interaction may be conducted in physical or virtual mode. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically confer a right to be called for personal interaction.

Travel Benefits: Outstation tour travel will be compensated with TA/DA as per the applicable NRL equivalent grade rate. No specific TA/DA is mentioned for the interview stage.

NRL reserves the right to raise or change the minimum eligibility standards, to fill or not fill the positions, or to cancel the advertisement at any stage without assigning any reason whatsoever. NRL's decision regarding selection shall be final.
