  • Must be able to stay in the hostel 24×7.

  • Must be able to cook dishes on time with attention to hygiene and taste.
• Desirable: Candidates trained in cookery will be given preference and due weightage.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for Assistant Cook (Boys' Hostel) will be made on the basis of screening of submitted applications and preference as follows:

1. Local candidates from the immediate locality will be given first preference.
2. If suitable local candidates are not available, the block will be taken as the recruitment unit.
3. If candidates are still not available at block level, candidates from nearby blocks within Mayurbhanj district may be selected.
4. No candidates from outside Mayurbhanj district will be considered.
