Contractual Geologist

Educational Qualification:
Contractual Geologist (Petrology):
(i) M.Sc. (Geology / Applied Geology) or M. Tech. (Geology / Applied Geology).
(ii) Must possess PhD degree holder with specialization in Petrology.
(iii) Research /Working Experience of more than 01 (one) year in laboratory of Oil & Gas industry / Mineral & Mining industry/ Research Organization/ University / Institute.
Contractual Geologist (Economic/Ore Geology):
(i) M.Sc. (Geology / Applied Geology) or M. Tech. (Geology / Applied Geology)
(ii) Must possess PhD degree holder with specialization in Economic / Ore Geology.
(iii) Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 01 (one) year in laboratory of Oil & Gas industry / Mineral & Mining industry/ Research Organization / University/ Institute.
Contractual Geologist (Micropaleontology):
(i) M.Sc. (Geology / Applied Geology) or M. Tech. (Geology / Applied Geology)
(ii) Must possess PhD degree holder with specialization in MicroPaleontology.
(iii) Research / Working Experience of more than 01 (one) year in micropaleontological laboratory of Oil & Gas industry/Research Organization/ University/ Institute.
Contractual Geologist (Sedimentology):
(i) M.Sc. (Geology / Applied Geology) or M. Tech. (Geology / Applied Geology).
(ii) Must possess PhD degree holder with specialization in Sedimentology.
(iii) Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 01 (one) year in laboratory of Oil & Gas industry / Research Organization / University/ Institute.
Pay Scale:
INR
60000-70000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years.

Oil India Private Limited was incorporated on 18th February 1959, to expand and develop the newly discovered oil fields of Naharkatiya and Moran in the North-Eastern region of India. In 1961, it became a joint venture company of Government of India and Burmah Oil Company Limited, UK. In 1981, OIL became a wholly owned Government of India enterprise.
