3. Remuneration & Condition of Service:- The appointment to these posts will be as Initially Appointee carrying a remuneration of Rs.25300/- per month (for 1st year) as per Govt. in G.A. & P.G. Department Notification No.19569/Gen. Dtd. 12th sept. 2017 & Notification No.28626/Gen dtd.27.10.2021 and Condition of Service will be guided by the Odisha Group-B Posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013 notified vide Govt. in G.A. Department Notification No: GAD.-SC-Rules-0061- 2013-1147/Gen dt.17-01-14 and the relevant recruitment Rule.
4. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Diploma in Handloom Technology/ Textile Technology from IIHT or other Government recognized Institutions as per the list given.

Selection Procedure
The Merit list of the candidates who found suitable in certificate verification shall be prepared basing on the sum total of marks secured in the Main Written Examination i.e. taking in to account the sum total of marks secured in paper-I &paper-ll together. The select list in order of merit category wise shall be prepared from the respective Merit list which will be equal to the number of vacancies notified in the advertisement.
(i) The plan, pattern, scheme and syllabus of Examination is suggested as follows:- The recruitment to this post will comprise of two stages
1. Written Examination, and
2.Certificate verification
(ii) Candidates numbering three times of the vacancies will be shortlisted in order of merit, category wise basing on their performance in written examination. There shall be no viva-voce test. Written Examination will comprise of two papers.

b. Aspirants have to apply online using the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in.
c. All eligible candidates have to register themselves by clicking on "APPLY ONLINE" button in the Home page of the Commission's website www.ossc.gov.in.
d. Those candidates who are applying for the first time have to register for the post by clicking on "NEW USER" button shown on the screen. On submitting the registration form a User ld and Password will be generated.
e. On clicking "New user" or "Registered User" instruction for filling up the Online Registration/ Re-registration and Application Forms shall appear on the computer screen. These instructions are to be read carefully before proceeding for filling up the Application Form.

Orissa Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was established in the year 1994 by Odisha Government as a statutory body for carrying out direct recruitment against Group C-Posts in the State. There are 85 different cadres of posts/ Services under various Department of Government which recruitment is made through the Commission. OSSC is responsible for applications of various examinations, issue of admit card to the candidates and also conducting interviews of applicants.
OSSC conducts exam for the posts of Junior Scale Stenographer, Enforcement Officer, Library Restorer, Laboratory Assistant, Forensic Lab attendant, etc.
