Educational Qualification: M.Sc

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by SERB-CRG, under the supervision of Dr. Harish Gupta (Principal Investigator), Department of Civil Engineering, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

1. Project Name: Source to Sink Transport and Transformations of Carbon and Nutrients: Biogeochemical Modelling for the Tropical Narmada River

2. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

3. Duration: 36 months (approximately); The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration.

4. No of Post: 01

5. Salary: JRF @ 31,000 + HRA and SRF + 35,000 HRA (3rd Year)

6. Qualification: M.Sc. (Geology/Applied Geology) or equivalent with 55% marks plus NET/GATE.

7. Desirable:

Candidate with mathematics at BSc level and having basic idea/expedise of field sampling/handling instruments and Geological Software/Remote Sensing/ARC-GlS/Computer Programming/ Modelling will be given preference.

Pay Scale:
INR
31000 - 35000(Per Month)

Age Limit: 28 years for JRF; Age relaxation applicable as per the SERB norms.

Selection Procedure

Interview might be conducted in Shortlisted candidates only will be called for an interview.the third week of April.
