Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (1) to work in the SERB funded research project entitled “Molecular systematics and phylogeography of the genus Rhinolophus (Mammalia, Chiroptera) in India - Understanding distribution and impact of climate change on possible SARSCoV reservoir” being executed by the undersigned at Wildlife Biology and Taxonomy Lab, Department of Zoology.

1. Position: Junior Research Fellowship

2. No of post: 01

3. Qualification: MSc (Zoology / Animal Science / Life Science) First class with CSIR-UGC NET qualified / GATE (Life Science) qualified / qualified in any National Level examination in Life Science conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc

4. Duration: Two years, extensible by one year and co-terminus with the project

5. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 PM for the first two years and Rs. 35,000 PM for the third year

6. HRA: HRA (as applicable, as per university norms)

7. Desirable : Experience in field work and desire and dedication to work hard

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be notified and called for interview. No TA/DA would be paid for the candidates to attend the interview.
