In pursuance of the DHE, Assam letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/149/2017/87, dated 080' October,2021, applications are invited in the prescribed format issued by the DHE, Assam with complete Bio-data and all supporting testimonials from HSLC onwards from intending candidates for the sanctioned post of Principal Kamrup(R) through proper channel Principal, P.B.Anchalik Mahavidyalaya, P.O.- Baranghati, Dist. having required qualifications, experience, latest norms etc. as per latest UGC guidelines, regulations and Govt. of Assam guidelines vide Govt. O.M. No. AHE.45/2019/2 dated 25-02-2019.

2. Qualification:

a. A Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed by a recognized university.

b. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied relevant discipline(s) in the institutions concerned with evidence of published work. Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of Fifteen years of Teaching/Research/Administration in university/colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.

c. A minimum research score 110 as per (UGC guideline 18.07.2018) as stiputlated in Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on performance based Apprisal for direct recruitment of Principal in Colleges. A minimum of 10 research publications in Peer reviewed or UGC listed Journals.

d. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate and Master's Degree levels for the SC/ST/Differently abled candidates.

e. The eligibility marks of 55% or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

f. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19/09/1991.

g. The term of the Principal shall be 05(five) years as per prescribed rule.
