In pursuance of the DHE, Assam letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/149/2017/87, dated 080' October,2021, applications are invited in the prescribed format issued by the DHE, Assam with complete Bio-data and all supporting testimonials from HSLC onwards from intending candidates for the sanctioned post of Principal Kamrup(R) through proper channel Principal, P.B.Anchalik Mahavidyalaya, P.O.- Baranghati, Dist. having required qualifications, experience, latest norms etc. as per latest UGC guidelines, regulations and Govt. of Assam guidelines vide Govt. O.M. No. AHE.45/2019/2 dated 25-02-2019. 1. Post Name: Principal 2. Qualification: a. A Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed by a recognized university. b. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied relevant discipline(s) in the institutions concerned with evidence of published work. Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of Fifteen years of Teaching/Research/Administration in university/colleges and other institutions of Higher Education. c. A minimum research score 110 as per (UGC guideline 18.07.2018) as stiputlated in Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on performance based Apprisal for direct recruitment of Principal in Colleges. A minimum of 10 research publications in Peer reviewed or UGC listed Journals. d. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate and Master's Degree levels for the SC/ST/Differently abled candidates. e. The eligibility marks of 55% or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures. f. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19/09/1991. g. The term of the Principal shall be 05(five) years as per prescribed rule.

P.B. Anchalik Mahavidyalaya is a promising Higher educational Institution offering Arts courses under Guwahati University for Degree classes. The College is located under undivided Paschim Barigog Mauza in the locality district of Kamrup. It is situated in the middle part of the vast, which is a distance of about 20 Kms from Rangia, 20 Kms from Nalbari,20 Kms from Hajo, and 45Kms from Gauhati University, Jalukari. The College was established in 1984 with the noble objective of spreading the light of Higher education amongst the students of this rural, remote, flood-prone, economically and educationally backward area. The College was brought under the Provincialisation system in the year 2013 by the Govt. Of Assam. It is permanently affiliated to Gauhati University and is under the purview of Section 2(F) and 12(B) of the UGC act 1956. At present, it has nine departments in the Arts Faculty and offers courses in computer application and Information technology, and Environmental studies. It imparts education to more than twelve hundred students and more than Five hundred students are enrolled annually.
