Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Hindi Officer (Post Level-7):
    • Education: Master’s Degree of recognized University in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level OR Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a subject OR Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects.
    • Experience: 5 years experience of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa (preferably technical/scientific) OR 5 years experience of teaching, research, writing, or journalism in Hindi.
    • Desirable: Knowledge of Sanskrit/Modern Indian Language, Administrative experience.
  • Office Superintendent (Post Level-6):
    • Education: Degree from a recognized University.
    • Experience: Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis OR With 6 years regular service in posts in Pay Level-5 or equivalent.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Maximum Age: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the application.
  • Age Calculation Date: Age is calculated as of the closing date of application submission (approx. 05 April 2026).
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories (subject to eligibility for deputation).
