Educational Qualification: M.Sc
1. Position: Guest Faculty
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification:
(i) Postgraduate degree in Geology/ Geography/ Disaster Management/ Earth Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and
(ii) UGC-NET or Ph.D. in Disaster Management as per UGC
4. Required Specialization: Teaching experiences in Disaster Management
5. Salary: Honorarium of Rs. 1000/- per lecture (subject to a maximum of Rs.25000/-) per month.

Selection Procedure
Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Date, Time and Venue of Interview: 05.01.2022 (Wednesday) at 11.00 AM in the Department of Coastal of Disaster Management, Pondicherry University, Brookshabad Campus, Port Blair.
2. The engagement of the selected guest faculty shall be till the appointment of regular faculty positions or till June 2022, whichever is earlier.
3. The service of the candidate may be terminated at any time without prior notice.
4. Interested eligible candidates may send the soft copy of their Bio-Data to the undersigned through Email id: [email protected]
5. Attend the walk-in-interview along with all original certificated, publications, testimonials, community certificate, a recent passport size photograph with a signed hard copy of their Bio-Data.
6. No Separate intimation will be sent for the walk-in-interview.
7. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

About Pondicherry University
Pondicherry University, also known as PU, is a collegiate public central university located in Kalapet, Pondicherry, Union Territory of Puducherry, India. It was established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.The Vice President of India is the Chancellor along with the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry acting as the Chief Rector and the President of India is the Visitor of the University.
