Post-Wise Vacancy and Pay Details

The remuneration is calculated on an hourly basis and shall not exceed Rs. 25,000 in any calendar month, as per approved University norms.

Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification

• STC Faculty – Hourly Basis (Mechatronics): B.E./B.Tech. in Mechatronics or M.E./M.Tech. in Mechatronics, secured with first class from a recognized University/Institution. Specialization in Mechatronics at UG level, PG level, or both is required.
• Candidates with relevant teaching experience and/or relevant academic experience in the field of Mechatronics may receive due consideration, subject to applicable University norms.

Selection Process

The selection for the STC Faculty – Hourly Basis (Mechatronics) position shall be conducted by Puducherry Technological University through Interview/Selection by the competent authority as per University prescribed procedure. The exact date and time of interview will be intimated to shortlisted candidates later.

• No written examination has been announced for this recruitment.
• Candidates must produce all original certificates and documents at the time of interview/selection.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.

• Valid OBC category certificate issued by the competent authority (if claiming reservation)
• Two recent passport-size photographs and valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Brief bio-data / curriculum vitae

Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely on a Short-Term Contract (STC) and hourly basis and shall not confer any right for regular appointment in the University.
• The engagement will be for a period of six months.
• The selected candidate shall undertake teaching, laboratory, academic, and other related duties assigned by the Department.
• Candidates claiming OBC reservation must produce a valid certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of selection.
• Candidates must produce all original certificates at the time of interview/selection.
• The University reserves the right to cancel, modify, or withdraw the notification, or not to fill the position, without assigning any reason.
