Educational Qualification:
Legal Assistant:
a. Legal Assistant in Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries And Dairy Development, Govt. of Punjab: i) Should have a degree in law of recognized university ii) Should have at least two years experience at the Bar.
b. Legal Assistant in Department of Excise And Taxation, Govt. of Punjab: Should possess a second class degree in law from a recognized University or Institution and should have practised at the Bar for a minimum period of two years or should have an experience of working on a legal post for a minimum period of two years.
c. Legal Assistant (Head Office) (Group-B) in the Department of School Education, Govt. of Punjab, Govt. of Punjab: Should have passed a professional Degree in Law from a recognized university or institution having minimum two years experience at Bar.
d. Legal Assistant (Subordinate Offices) (Group-B) in the Department of School Education, Govt. of Punjab: Should have passed professional Degree in Law from a recognized university or institution as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. Having minimum two years experience at Bar.
Law Officer:
Law Officer in Department of Housing and Urban Development, Govt. of Punjab: Law Graduate with at least three years experience as advocate or should have held assignment involving Legal work for a period of not less than three years. Should have passed Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.

35400/- Per Month
Age Limit: Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01/01/2022.
Application Fees: SC/ ST, Backward Classes of Punjab State only: 750/-, Ex-Serviceman of Punjab state only, EWS, PWD, LDESM: 500/-. All Other Categories: 1500/-.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.
How to Apply:
1. Last date for new registration for applying online/editing for the post: 29/06/2022 By 11:59:00 PM
2. Start date for printing system generated bank challan form: 30/06/2022
3. Last date for printing system generated bank challan form: 07/07/2022 By 11:59:00 PM
4. Last date for depositing Application and Examination fees by using the print out system generated bank challan form: 08 /07/2022 [During Banking Hours]
5. Submission of printed copy of the application form:- The candidates are NOT REQUIRED to send the hard copy of the Online Application Form to the Office of Punjab Public Service Commission
6. However, the candidates must take copy in soft form or the print out of the Application Form at the time of applying, as he/she will not be able to take out the copy at a later stage.
7. He/she must retain the hard/soft copy of online application form along with all eligibility documents ready to be sent at a short notice to PPSC, whenever required by PPSC.
8. However, candidates applying under the Sports Category will send a hard copy of Online Application Form' along with Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Department of Sports, Punjab, latest Punjab Residence Certificate, Reserve Category Certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable) by post or by email at [email protected] or by hand at the reception counter of PPSC by 29/07/2022 to establish his/her eligibility under the sports category.
