Horticulture Development Officer (HDO)

Number of Vacancy: 101 Posts

Educational Qualification:
(i) Should possess a degree in B.Sc. Agriculture (Minimum 50% marks) with Horticulture as an elective subject or Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) in Horticulture/ B.Sc. Horticulture from a recognized University or Institution;

(ii) Should possess degree in M.Sc. Horticulture from a recognized University or Institution; and Should have passed Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Punjab Government from time to time.

Pay Scale:
INR
44900/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 37 Years.

Selection Procedure:
Written Competitive Examination.
Interview.

Application Fee:
For Ex-Serviceman, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Lineal Descendants of Ex-Serviceman (LDESM) of Punjab State only: Rs. 500/-.
Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Punjab State only: Rs. 750/-.
All other Categories: Rs. 1500/-.
