Punjabi University Invites Application for Project Associate, Project Officer and More Vacancies Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the following posts purely on temporary basis under the Project entitled "OCR's and Applications in Indian Languages" funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. The qualifications and other details are given as below

1. Name of Post: Senior Project Scientist

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary (INR): 1 Lakh per month

4. Qualifications: Ph.D in Computer Science /Engg./Mathematics/ Statistics with 10 year experience. High quality SCI Journal Publications in the field of Image processing/ Computer Vision/NLP

5. Duration of all above posts: 01 year with further extension of 01 year according to requirements of the project. Maximum duration 03 years.

1. Name of Post: Senior Project Officer

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary (INR): 60,000/- per month

4. Qualifications: Ph.D in Computer Science IEngg./Mathematics/ Statistics with 3 years experience. High quality Publications in the field of Image processing/ Computer Vision/NLP

5. Duration of all above posts: 01 year with further extension of 01 year according to requirements of the project. Maximum duration 03 years.

1. Name of Post: Project Officer

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary (INR): 40,000/- per month

4. Qualifications: First Class Masters Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engg./Computer Applications with good programming skills in C/ C++/Python. 2 years Experience in the field of Image processing/ Computer Vision/NLP

5. Duration of all above posts: 01 year with further extension of 01 year according to requirements of the project. Maximum duration 03 years.

1. Name of Post: Project Associate

2. No of Post: 02

3. Salary (INR): 25,000/- per month

4. Qualifications: First Class Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engg./Computer Applications with good programming skills in C/ C++/Python

5. Duration of all above posts: 01 year with further extension of 01 year according to requirements of the project. Maximum duration 03 years.
