1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Full-time Contractual) Specialisation: H.I. for the Department of Disability Studies purely on temporary basis.
2. No of Post: 01 (One)
3. Essential Qualification:
(i) Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks (as per the RCI norms and UGC Regulations, Gazette dated September18, 2010 section 1.1.1)
(ii) M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area (HI) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B+ in ’10 point scale’ of UGC from a recognized University/Institute. or An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.
(iii) Valid Registration with RCI, u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential.
4. Desirable Qualification:
(i) M.Phil/Ph.D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education.
(ii) Experience for a period of at least 2 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability.
5. Specialisation: In H.I. as per RCI norms.
6. Pay: Rs.40,000/-(consolidated) per month.

The application form, duly filled in, is to be submitted either in person at the Establishment Section of the university at the above address on all working days (11.00 AM to 4.00 PM) or to be sent by post/courier to the above mentioned address, along with the Demand Draft in original for payment of requisite application fees, as mentioned under (B) and other as mentioned under (C).
