Applications in prescribed Performa with complete bio-data are invited to fill up the posts of Assistant Professor in different department of RIMS, Ranchi, an Autonomous Institution under Govt. of Jharkhand. 1. Post Name: Assistant Professor 2. Vacancy: 39 3. Qualification: A medical qualification included in the level I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualification included part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act. A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline /subject. 4. Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D/M.S or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 5. Essential for Super speciality discipline: Same as first one D.M in the respective discipline /subject for a medical super specialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline /subject for a surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 6. Experience: One years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M/M.Ch (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing 3 years recognised Degree D.M/M.Ch. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 7. Non Medical: Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline /allied subject/ A doctorate degree of a recognized university. 8. Experience: Three years teaching and /or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree. 9. Payscale 7th As per Assistant Professor- 12/1
