Project Funding: The position is funded under the ICMR/MAHA MedTech project titled "An AI-Integrated Ultrasensitive Nanopore Sensing System for Non-invasive Early Detection of Cervical Cancer" under the Laboratory of Dr. Mahandran K R, Scientist E-II at BRIC-RGCB, Thiruvananthapuram.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

  • Educational Qualification: M.Sc or equivalent degree in any branch of Life Sciences, with 70% marks.
  • Mandatory Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in Membrane Protein Purification. A documented experience certificate is required.
  • Desirable Qualification: Minimum of one year of experience in handling Biophysical techniques.
  • Age Limit: Below 35 years as on 14 October 2026. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process is based on the following stages:
