Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Guest Faculty – Philosophy: Eligibility criteria for Assistant Professor (Guest) shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018, as adopted by the University of Delhi and UGC.
  • Minimum educational and research qualification as prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018 for the post of Assistant Professor.
  • Candidates must satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements in terms of qualification, NET / SET / Ph.D. or equivalent as per UGC norms.
• Superannuated Teachers: Retired teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty, subject to the maximum age limit of 70 years.
• Other Conditions: The candidate should not hold any other teaching assignment currently.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be based on a Walk-In Interview to be conducted on 14 October 2026 at 02:15 PM.
• Candidates will be evaluated during the interview based on their academic qualifications, research profile, publications, and teaching experience as per UGC Regulations, 2018 norms.
• No separate written test or screening examination is conducted for this Guest Faculty position.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.
• No interview letters are being issued by the College. Candidates must carry all original documents to the venue.
• The College reserves the right to change the nature or number of positions or cancel the interview at any stage without prior notice.
