Interview for Project Research Associate-I position 1. Title of Project: Covid-19 Bioresource at the NCR Biotech Science Cluster 2. Duration: Initially for six months. 3. Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Biology or associated field with a strong foundation of basics in cell biology and molecular biology and at least one first author publications in the peer-reviewed international journal. 4. Desirable Qualifications: Candidates must have a thorough grasp of basic concepts in Biochemistry, Cell biology and molecular biology with independent ability in executing the research work. A good communication skill for scientific writing and presentation is a must. Publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals will be preferred. 5. No. of Position: One 6. Emoluments: Rs.47,000/- + 24% HRA per month 7. Advt. No. 06/Project/2022/HR

About Regional Centre for Biotechnology
Mandate of the Centre is to provide a platform for biotechnology education, training and research at the interface of multiple disciplines. The programmes of the Centre are designed to create opportunities for students to engage in multi-disciplinary research where they learn biotech science while integrating engineering, medicine and science, to provide solutions for human and animal health, agriculture and environmental technologies.
The mission of the Centre is to create opportunities for multi-disciplinary education, training and research in biotechnology. The vision is to produce human resource tailored to drive innovation in biotechnology, particularly in areas of new opportunities and also to fill talent gap in deficient areas.
The Centre has been recognized as an 'Institution of National Importance' through an act of Indian Parliament, for biotechnology education, training and research. The Centre is also regarded as a "Category II Centre" in terms of "the principles and guidelines for the establishment and functioning of UNESCO Institutes and Centres".
