Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) Invites Application for Project Associate-II Recruitment 2022

1. Title of Project: MOMI- Biorepository local analysis-INDIA.

2. Project Information:

a. Multi-omics for Mother and Infants (MOMI) Consortium is a global consortium which aims to identify new predictive biomarkers for preterm birth, preeclampsia, stillbirth and fetal growth restriction.

b. Interdisciplinary Group for Advanced research on BirtH outcome-DBT India Initiative (GARBHIni) partners with MOMI to investigate the pregnancy related complication. One of the objectives of this project to check the quality of placenta samples in the GARBH-Ini Biobank using mass spectrometry based analytical tools.

3. Post Name: Project Associate-II

4. Duration: Initially for six months and may be extended after performance evaluation on every six months till the end of project

5. Essential Qualifications:

(i) Master degree in Biotechnology/ Life Science with minimum 60% marks in all qualifying exams.

(ii) Two years of Research and Development in the Industrial and academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and Services.

6. Desirable Qualifications:

Candidate must have hands on experience on mass spectrometry-based proteomics (proteomics sample preparation and data analysis). This project will deal with placental proteomics study using LC-MS/MS on store samples in Biobank to access the sample quality for proteomics.
