Educational Qualification: Chief Scientific Officer : Doctoral degree in science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with 20 years of experience in relevant field.
Project Scientist III/II/ I: Doctoral degree in science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent; and 07 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities & services. Project Scientist II: Doctoral degree in science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent; and 03 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities & services. Project Scientist I: Doctoral degree in science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Website Administrator: BTech or MCA from a recognized University or equivalent with 3-7 years’ experience in website management and development. Desirable:
Technical expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SQL, LAMP and API.
Executive (IPR): LLB with specialization in Intellectual Property Law from a recognized University or equivalent with 3-5 years’ experience in dealing with trademarks, patents, GIs and copyrights.

Age Limit: 35 years to 45 years
Selection Procedure

Mandate of the Centre is to provide a platform for biotechnology education, training and research at the interface of multiple disciplines. The programmes of the Centre are designed to create opportunities for students to engage in multi-disciplinary research where they learn biotech science while integrating engineering, medicine and science, to provide solutions for human and animal health, agriculture and environmental technologies.
The mission of the Centre is to create opportunities for multi-disciplinary education, training and research in biotechnology. The vision is to produce human resource tailored to drive innovation in biotechnology, particularly in areas of new opportunities and also to fill talent gap in deficient areas.
The Centre has been recognized as an 'Institution of National Importance' through an act of Indian Parliament, for biotechnology education, training and research. The Centre is also regarded as a "Category II Centre" in terms of "the principles and guidelines for the establishment and functioning of UNESCO Institutes and Centres".
